MMGC in pink and Ullesthorpe in red prepare for the Taskers
On a fine but windy day, the Ladies Team took on Ullesthorpe Golf Club in the second round of the Tasker’s Trophy. As this competition was one leg only, the visiting ladies were awarded an away advantage of one point each before the matches started, making an additional demand on the skill of the Melton Ladies.
It was nip and tuck in many of the matches, with the Lady Captain, Sandie Normanton, only losing her match on the last hole. However, the Melton team emerged victorious 4 points to 3.
