On Saturday 29th August, Melton golfers braved the cold and wind to compete in the Medal Competition. Everyone was met with a very strong headwind over the first few holes; however it was of assistance on the long par 5s. The greens were very receptive following the overnight rain and many took advantage of this to attack the pin.
