Competitions Report to 7th April, 2014

Melton Gents played  a qualifying Stableford on Saturday which was also the first round of the Race to Woodhall Spa Competition which has been organised by Club member Tim Buxton.

The Race to Woodhall Spa is a Race to Dubai/Fedex Cup type of event, integrating a season points system into Melton’s current Gents’ individual competitions throughout the qualifying season.

The top 24 throughout the season-long standings will have a shootout played as a medal at the end of the season at MMGC, providing an exciting finale to the season.

The top 4 of the 24 shootout will then battle it out for the crown at Woodhall Spa on the respected Hotchkin Course.  A wonderful end to anyone’s season and a great incentive to compete and do well in the RWS!
