Saturday 25th May saw a strong field of 97 golfers enter the RWS medal competition. Excellent conditions of both weather and course were the trade mark of some excellent scores by the winners throughout the day. There were three categories handicaps 0 – 12, 13 – 20 and 21 – 28.
The overall winner was Danny Raven with an excellent net 63.
0 – 12 winners were Andy Blunt net 68 & runner up Ian Townsend net 72 on count back.
13 – 20 winner Guy Fishwick nett 66 on count back and also net 66 on count back Tony Robinson.
21 – 28 winners Luke Shaw net 68 and Mick Jordan net 69.
There were 30 winning shares in the twos sweep.
