MMGC’s C Team hosted Toft Golf Club on 24 May, a new fixture for the team this year following the recent closure of Park Hill.
Under clear blue skies, both teams enjoyed ideal weather and our course was in magnificent condition. Melton put in several fine performances notably Dave Bailey and Andy Pedlar who won 8&7, Keith Tomblin and Ady Stokes and Nigel Blunt and Mark Lewis who both won 4&3.
A comfortable 5-1 win for Melton at home then with Toft avowing a sterner test on the return visit later in the year.
