Melton Mowbray Golf Club’s Golf Professional, Tony Westwood, and Amateur partner, Sam Pollard, are through to the quarter-finals of the Leicestershire Pro-Am Foursomes Matchplay.
They beat the ‘B’ Team from Birstall on Thursday 21st July in their home match 3&1. They now wait to hear who they will play in the next round. The match was close, but the Melton pairing were never behind in the match with good golf played by both teams.
