Saturday 30th March saw a very strong field turn out to compete in the fun MedFord competition, which entailed a Medal on the front 9 holes and a Stableford competition on the back 9 holes. With excellent sunny weather for this time of year and the course starting to let the ball run more, it eventually proved very fruitful for the eventual winners.
The overall score is calculated by subtracting the Stableford score from the nett medal score and the winners were as follows: 1st with an outstanding 5 under par score of 11, 4 ahead of his nearest competitor was Kevin Robertson. 2nd again with a very good score was Matt Catton on 15 and 3rd on count back (ocb) was Martin Hall with a score of 16 and 4th also on 16 was Chris Carmichael.
