Delayed by the snowfall on December 10th the Ladies Christmas Competition was delayed until the 7th January. We played a waltz format in lovely sunshine, Lady Captain, Bettyne Norton first off the tee.
The winning team was Kathie Finn, Margaret Samways and Vice Captain Sandie Normanton with 28 points just one point ahead of runners up, Leah Radford, Sally Hudson and Maureen McCall’s 27 points.

A Christmas get together took place after the competition, with Christmas Cake, Mince Pies, Sausage Roll etc.followed by the prize presentation and each lady received a Christmas gift from Bettyne. It was good fun and a nice way to start the New Year for the Ladies section.
