The Melton Mowbray B team captained by Club Vice Captain, Jack Inguanta, won the 2015 Leicestershire & Rutland B Team League and received the shield at the B Team league finals day on Sunday 20th September.
Having played 10 matches and won 8, losing two, the Melton team fought off a strong challenge from Market Harborough for the title, winning on the last match to top the league with 16 points 2 ahead of Market Harborough in 2nd place.
The whole team is delighted with their win and Club Captain, Brendan Boyce, said what a great year the club is having, Melton winning their division in the County Scratch league, Winners of the County Mixed Foursomes and now the B Team League.
