Despite the low temperature and the cold wind, the mingle golfers again turned up to play in their 9 hole competition. Notwithstanding the elements that would test their golfing ability, some good scores were returned on the day. In first place, with the chasing pack a good 4 points behind, were George Schmidt and Pat Barnes with net 37. 2nd were Dick Chapman and Elaine Howarth with net 41.4. 3rd place went to Haydn Snow and Liz Snow on 41.6.
The best fourball with a combined score of net 78.6 was George Schmidt & Pat Barnes with Haydn & Liz Snow.
