After spearheading this project and spending a lot of time choosing an appropriate tree, Lady Captain Joan Allen invited members to join her on Wednesday 4th January for the unveiling of the planted tree and plaque. The newly planted staked tree can be found between the practice ground and the right hand side of the 18th fairway and is a fitting tribute from Melton Mowbray Golf Club to commemorate the life and achievements of the late Queen, HM Queen Elizabeth.
