A large field of 105 golfers turned out in the very hot and humid weather to participate in the Presidents Putter and Compton Cup Competitions.
PRESIDENTS PUTTER:
82 golfers with handicaps between 0 – 20 played in the Presidents Putter and the results were as follows:
Winner Paul Halford 67 ocb
Second John Harvey 67 ocb
Third Rob Allen 67
Best Gross of the day was a 68 by the new Club Champion Sam Pollard.

COMPTON CUP
23 Competitors entered the Compton Cup for golfers with handicaps 21 and over and the winner Roy Tomley beat the Handicap and Competition Secretary Doug Woolley into second place on count back and the results were as follows:

Third Mick Wheatley 68.
