On Saturday 24th November, 15 teams of 4 players competed in the Progressive Am-Am. With a strong easterly wind and a few showers, the first few holes were challenging. Despite the weather, the scoring against the par score of 108 points was excellent. There were only three 2s recorded and past Club Captain, Brendan Boyce, had a ‘Hole-in-One’ on the tricky 133 yard 14th hole into the wind – a great achievement which cost him dear!
The top three teams were:
1st: Adi Grant, Paul Blount, Paul Mullins and Steve Burton 114 points
2nd: Martin Hall, Julien Kisiel, Paul Gough and Mick Cavani 111 points
3rd: Tim Mortimer, Nick Pollard, Nick Baines and Mick Ward 110 points
