The Seniors at Melton Mowbray Golf Club hosted the Seniors from Birstall Golf Club last Tuesday.  The weather was quite pleasant with a bit of late wind but a lovely day of golf was enjoyed by all.  However, the men from Birstall enjoyed it more as they prevailed over the home club 5 1/2 to 2 1/2.  Congratulations to the Don Benzie and Brian Wray for getting a 1/2 point for a tie match.  Victorious for MMGC were the teams of Ken Longbottom and Neil Farish as well as P. Steve Harrison and Peter Middleton.

Next match for our Seniors Team is Tuesday at Melton against Ruddington Grange.
