The Senior team played away to Ruddington Grange on Tuesday 9th April and came away with a a well deserved win although some of the matches had a very close outcome. The course was in very good condition and the golfers were tested by the cold and continuous breeze all throughout the 18 holes of the matches.
The winning pairings were as follows: Haydn Snow and Dennis Dayman won 3 & 2, John Squires & Ray Stone won 1 up, David Wells and Joe Carrington won 4 & 3, Bob Purkis & Ken Kirk won 2 & 1, whilst the pairings of Richard Grieve and Al Terrza, Pat Lee and Richard Haines all halved to make the overall result a 5 & 3.
