Sunday 17th October was a damp morning with early mizzle which slowly got heavier, indeed not letting up until the end of the competition for those playing in the Inter Team Challenge. This was played as a Stableford competition with teams of 6 and the best 4 scores at each hole to count. The men’s 3rd team came out on top with a fine score of 159, followed by the Seniors on 152, men’s 2nd team 145, Ladies’ team on 141, League team 140, Junior team 134 and finally the Mixed team on 133.
The best individual scores were Mark Lewis for the 3rd team on 37 pts, John Rigby and Hadyn Snow for the Seniors on 35pts, Neil Eaves for the 2nd team on 33 pts, Ian Hickman for the League team on 37 pts, Megan Grimwood for the Junior team on 35 pts and David Hirst and Glynis Breward for theMixed team on 30 pts.
