Despite the knowledge that heavy rain was due for the second half of this competition, 16 intrepid ladies took part in this annual Christmas event on Sunday 13th December and enjoyed (just about) getting round 9 holes and playing a best of 2 scores to count Stableford format. Refreshments of hot drinks and mince pies were very welcome on the 5th tee distributed by Santa’s helpers and helped to warm the hands and set the players up for the last 5 holes.
The results on the day were as follows:
Winners: Jane Berry, Rachel Reid and Jean Moulds with 34 points
Second: Bettyne Norton, ‘Drina Terzza and ‘ghost’ Liz Snow with 30 points
Third: Sally Hudson, Liz Clark and ‘ghost’ Jean Moulds with 29 points.
Well done to all the Ladies who turned out for this final event of this year.
