On Sunday 5th August, the L&RGU U16s golfers played host to teams from Suffolk and 
Cambridgeshire for the Annual Tom Finn Trophy. The competition is played as a three-way Matchplay off scratch, rotating around different courses within the counties. On a very warm and humid day, the competition was fierce and the standard of play exceptional. Suffolk fielded a very strong team and just beat L&RGU to the trophy, which was presented to them by Tom Finn, a past L&RGU President and current member of MMGC. Yet again, all teams were very complimentary about the standard of the course, the catering and the very warm welcome extended by everyone.
