The Ludlow Bowl and Compton Cup Round 2 bogey competitions were well supported on Saturday, where all competitors play against the par of the course. The course is in excellent condition and the weather looked very favourable for the golfers. Some good scoring would be inevitable. The standard scratch for the course on the day was 71 and the winners were as follows:
Ludlow Bowl Overall Winner: Ben Manship 7 up: 2nd Mark Lewis 5up: 3rd Ian Townsend 4 up.
Compton Cup Overall Winner: Darren Mackie 6up: 2nd Charles Fitzgerald 3 up on count back (ocb): 3rd Luke Snow 3 up.
